How can behaviour “be sensory”? And do sensory toys help or hinder us?

This seminar explores what is going on behind “sensory behaviour” and looks at whether the sensory toys that are sold to us help support children to maintain socially expected behaviour or whether they’re simply a distraction from learning. Attendees will gain practical insight they can use in their classrooms right away, as well as technical knowledge they can use to evaluate resources and strategies.
