This dynamic, story-rich seminar champions poetry and creative writing asessential tools for realising the Four Purposes of the Curriculum for Wales.
Gareth Williams draws on lived experience, spoken word performance, andclassroom practice to show how creative literacy nurtures voice, confidence, empathy, and resilience. Delegates will explore how poetry can be embedded across all AoLEs, not just English, and how it supports the integral skills of the curriculum. The session also introduces a practical framework to help learners unlock and apply their own creative ‘superpowers’—celebrating individual strengths while deepening connection to curriculum intent.
