What a 4 year old can teach you about autistic communication differences

Differences in verbal and non verbal forms of communication are recognised in the diagnosis of autism. When Jo’s son was 4 he wrote a book called ‘My Mummy is Autistic’, in it he explores the language processing differences Jo (who is autistic) experiences. This seminar will look at how his insight into things like processing delays, play and cultural communication traditions apply in the classroom and at home.
