Getting under the skin of it: Applying an anti-racist lens to curriculum design

This interactive workshop moves beyond tokenistic inclusion to explore authentic, meaningful curriculum design through an anti-racist lens. We will examine the importance of selecting the ‘right’ resources that reflect diverse voices and experiences and demonstrate practical strategies for embedding anti-racism into teaching and learning. Participants will engage in a series of activities exploring often hidden histories and discover opportunities to ensure anti-racism runs as a golden thread throughout their curriculum. Join us to develop practical approaches for transforming curriculum into a powerful tool for social justice and inclusive education.

Language – English | Audience – Primary, Secondary and FE. Elements will be relevant to early years as well.
