Engaging parents in intervention

Parental engagement in education can benefit child attainment, attendance, and children’s motivation.

Improving home-school links also helps address problems promptly and develop effective strategies to support the child’s learning.

Involved parents create a conducive learning environment at home and encourage and reinforce the importance of education which in turn contributes to the overall development of children, including emotional and social growth.

This session will;
• Discuss the challenges of engaging parents, ways to overcome them and the outcomes of doing so.
• Introduce an evidence-based interventions we evaluate and deliver which include parent components to improve home-school links.
