Indoor approach to maximising nature connection

A strong connection to nature is the best predictor of pro-environmental behaviour in young people, not to mention the wealth of other benefits. In today’s busy, results led educational landscape practitioners need a strategy to maximise the impact of nature connection whilst still delivering the necessary curriculum content.

In this seminar we use intersectional pedagogy as the framework to explore how standard curriculum delivery can be enhanced to impart nature connection, even when inside the classroom. Important for environmentally motivated educators including the new mandated school sustainability officers seeking guidance and those in humanity and science curriculum delivery.
