A strong connection to nature is the best predictor of pro-environmental behavior in young people, not to mention the wealth of other benefits. Of course, access to outdoor spaces is uneven across the country and not all outside time is created equal where nature connection is concerned.
In this seminar we explore how all time outside the classroom can be maximised to achieve strong nature connection, from residential trips to forest school to everyday curriculum delivery. Furthermore, how connection to our environment can be fostered in the most unassuming of outdoor spaces.
