A hands-on session exploring how GarageBand for iPad can supercharge oracy, literacy and creativity in the classroom. GarageBand is Apple’s free “recording studio in your hand” for beginners, but many don’t know where to start. Attendees will experience live interactive demonstrations — simple music making, fun voice recording and sampling, and collaborative mini-podcast creation in minutes. These playful, engaging and inclusive techniques inspire even reluctant pupils to connect with their voices, leading to rich possibilities for writing. Suitable for any teacher, these are practical, adaptable strategies to embed in cross-curricular delivery with learners of all abilities, including ALN/SEND/EAL.
