What happens when we give learners a reason to care before we give them the curriculum?
In this lively, practical session, Hywel Roberts explores how story, talk and imagination can bring the Curriculum for Wales to life. Through real classroom examples, delegates will experience simple Botheredness® approaches including Let’s Say…and People–Place–Problem, discovering how curriculum content can become something learners want to talk about, explore and understand. Expect stories, laughter, purposeful talk and ideas you can use tomorrow. This is not about adding more to teachers’ workload. It’s about making what we already teach matter more.
