This practical seminar will explore how coaching can empower colleagues, strengthen leadership and improve performance across schools. Discover how principals can use coaching to support academic, pastoral and inclusion leads, how senior leaders can explore curriculum and data with middle leaders and how middle leaders can use coaching following lesson observations. We will also consider the benefits of peer coaching for teachers. Delegates will learn a systematic approach to coaching, including setting shared goals and working backwards, planning effective questions, using data thoughtfully, recognising the importance of being wrong and developing shared solutions through testing hypotheses.
