From solitude to solidarity: Why group work is vital for social and emotional wellbeing in schools

Schools face constant pressure to meet and improve the social and emotional wellbeing needs, often investing heavily in individual interventions. However, this is not sustainable or practical given the number of children in need.

Our young people are calling out for connection in a world where loneliness and anxiety run high. Schools are uniquely positioned to answer this call by transitioning children from individual interventions to group-based approaches.

This seminar explores how schools can meet these challenges by knowing when to shift from one-to-one therapeutic interventions to a group work approach, fostering connection, empathy, and resilience in young people.
