Responding to challenging questions in relationships and Sex Education

One of the reasons that many teachers are worried about teaching Relationships and sex education is about how to answer the questions that children and young people might raise.
“What do I say if they ask THAT?!”
This practical session will remind us of the importance of establishing group agreements at the start of the lesson, and consider some microscripts as the basis from which we can work. We will then practice responding to challenging questions in ways that support teacher confidence. Those with leadership responsibilities will be able to implement this as part of CPD in their own school.
