The 3Es of Inclusion: Making the classroom work for working-class students

Working-class students start out at a disadvantage and the education system fails to close the gap. Working-class students get worse outcomes, are less likely to go to university, are less likely to find fulfilling and well-paid employment, and experience worse health and wellbeing. This not about ability or effort; it is an accident of birth.  Meritocracy doesn’t exist. In this interactive seminar, Matt Bromley, author of The Working Classroom, will set out 3 problems with schooling that disadvantage the already disadvantaged, and offer 3 solutions – the 3Es.
