Admissions Policy

• The National Education Show is a free to attend education exhibition (seminars are not included) and open to anyone within the education sector. You may be required to show proof of your trade activities and/or ID at the entrance to the show.

• All attendees, be they visitors, exhibitors, press or speakers to the National Education Show events must hold a valid badge and be registered for the current show at the event.

• Badge holders must not allow their badges to be worn by anyone else. Any failure is likely to lead to the badge holder and the person wearing the badge being removed from the event and possibly being barred from attending future National Education Show Ltd events.

• Anyone obtaining a show attendee badge by theft, deception or other illegal means may be asked to leave the event and may be barred from attending future National Education Show Ltd events.

• No one under the age of 16 should register for the National Education Show events.

Canvassing

• Anyone attending National Education Show events must not take part in any canvassing, leafleting, demonstrations, objectionable behaviour or any activity which may disrupt the business activities at the event, and may be asked to leave the event and may be barred from attending future National Education Show Ltd events.

• Many exhibitors give out samples of products for potential buyers to try. These are intended for genuine buyers or users. Anyone found to be taking excessive samples from stands without engaging with the exhibitor or without the exhibitor’s express permission, may be asked to leave the event.

• The Organisers reserve the right to exclude or remove anyone from the event and venue who does not comply with this policy or who they reasonably consider are likely to break these rules or who are prohibited from attending under any applicable laws or regulations.

• Non-exhibiting companies attending National Education Show events are requested not to solicit for business on the show floor or from exhibitors within the show venue including car park. If found doing so will be asked to leave the event and may be barred from attending future National Education Show Ltd events.

Photographers & Videographers

• Official photographers & videographers will be taking photographs and other images at the event. The Organisers shall be entitled to use such photographs, which may include photographs or video footage of visitors, for the purpose of marketing the event attended and other National Education Show events in the future. If you would prefer this not to be the case please inform the photographer / videographer and/or email a photograph of yourself to info@nationaleducationshow.co.uk. The subject of the email should include the show name, location, date and DO NOT USE MY PHOTO.

• Anyone attending the National Education Show consents to such photography and filming without compensation and confirms that the organisers shall be entitled to use such photographs and videos, which may include photographs and videos of visitors, for the purpose of marketing the show in the future, for exploitation in any and all media, without liability.

• No other photography or filming will be permitted at the show without prior approval of the organisers.

Health & Safety

• National Education Show has no control over the food products distributed at the shows and cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions to food sampled or purchased whilst at one of our events.

• National Education Show events take place in multi-purpose public venues, which host a variety of events during every week of every year. Therefore, the venue is as susceptible to any allergen as any other public place and should be treated with precisely the same degree of caution.

Badge Scanning

• By entering the National Education Show you understand that by allowing your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor/sponsor or by scanning your badge at a touchpoint, you will be providing that exhibitor/sponsor with your personal data. By entering the National Education Show you consent to this personal data being transferred and accept that this exhibitor/sponsor may contact you about their products or services. You agree that this exhibitor or sponsor may transfer your data for these purposes and you consent to such transfer.
• By entering the National Education Show you also understand and agree that your personal data may be held and used by the organiser of the National Education Show, and any third-party hosting provider acting on its behalf, in order to stage the event and to analyse visitor traffic with a view to improving the event experience for visitors.

Press

• Press badges at the event are restricted to publishers, editors, journalists, photographers, broadcasters and bloggers associated with the relevant industries. Members of the press may be required to complete an application form and produce accreditation in the form of a photocopy of a recognised press or media card, business card, NUJ card, a letter from the editor or an official web address linking to a press release or article in order to verify their position. Press applications from advertising personnel and media sales representatives will not be accepted.

The National Education Show reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to the venue at their discretion and any person who fails to comply with instructions from a steward or other person acting on behalf of the National Education Show may be asked to leave.
